Access & Usage
Pick-Up Location: University House – UNHG03 – Technical Office
These Wacoms can be accessed by any students & staff within the school who have completed the necessary inductions.
The required inductions are:
- The Level 1 General Induction (Course dependent)
- The Level 2 Animation Studios Induction
These can be found embedded in your aligned Course Canvas site:

The Wacoms can be booked out for 1 week at a time.
If you intend to work on your own computer, you will need to install the driver and enable the accessibility settings in System Preferences/Control Panel.
All HCISS Computer Lab machines have this pre-installed. Staff machines can have these drivers installed through the Self-Service application.

Technical Specifications
– Use ambient light and draw where ever you go!
– Lightly textured to resist scratches.
– Disc rotates and is trapped securely to allow for transport and will not allow the disc to fall out
– Full size 16 1/2″ disc for students and Pro animators
– Four Rubber feet to prevent sliding
– Handle allows for easy grip and comfort when carried
– As an “Overlay” You can even place it over a light table or glass top
